Politics Aregbesola Inaugurates Cabinet One Year to End of Tenure

Governor Rauf Aregbesola on Tuesday inaugurated commissioners to form his cabinet one and a half years before the expiration of his tenure. He has been governor for six and a half years.

The state cabinet since his re-election in 2014 has been run by the Governor himself, the Deputy Governor, Mrs Titi Laoye -Tomori, the Chief of Staff Gboyega Oyetola and the Secretary to the State Government, Moshood Adeoti.

Thirty eight Commissioners and Special Advisers, were assigned different portfolios during the inauguration ceremony on Tuesday.

Nine of the new cabinet members are returnees who served in the past tenure while 29 are new members from all strata.

While inaugurating the cabinet members, the Governor admonished them to work hard and justify the essence of making them leaders.
