Any person found guilty in the alleged illegal purchase of two bulletproof BMW cars at the cost of N255 million by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) risks a jail term of five years without option of fine.

Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Public Procurement, Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, who spoke on the position of the law on the issue on Monday, said the punishment was clearly stated in the Public Procurement Act.

She insisted that no agency of government can claim ignorance of the law.

if they had any sense, they will buy 7-8 more cars to make it meet up
I dey laugh. Unfortunately for those involved the figure is not up to one billion Naira. Then they would have got the standard 6 months :)
@curator, I really hope u won't get to power one day and cart away 2 billion in exchange for 3 months. News agencies are teaching u bad things. Smh.
