Metro Arms Deal Probe: Dambazau, Ihejirika, Minimah Indicted

PREMIUM TIMES has an exclusive which claims that minister of interior, Abdurrahman Bello Dambazau, the immediate past chief of army staff, Kenneth Minimah, and his predecessor, Azubuike Ihejirika have been indicted by the Presidential Committee on Defence Equipment Procurement.

The committee was set up by President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the procurement of arms, ammunition and equipment in the military from 2007 to 2015. A source close to the investigation described the committee report as “damning” and “explosive”.

The report is yet to be submitted to the Presidency.
