Failure to help President Muhammadu Buhari win the 2015 election is reportedly part of the reasons some army officers were compulsorily retired.
Many Colonels and Lieutenant Colonels who were laid off on June 9 were merely suspected of failing to cooperate with the All Progressives Congress to garner votes in the 2015 elections, sources told PREMIUM TIMES.
Also, 10 Brigadier Generals were also retired because they were suspected to be have failed to help this regime to power.
