The Governor of #Ekiti State, Kayode #Fayemi, and his wife, Bisi Fayemi, have accused the Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu #Obanikoro, and his counterpart in the Ministry of Police Affairs, Jelil Adesiyan, of interfering in the governorship election. Also accused of interference in the June 21 election is a Peoples Democratic chieftain, Chris Uba.
Fayemi, who spoke to reporters at his voting unit in Isan-Ekiti, Oye Local Government Area, described them as busybodies, noting that the matter was immediately reported to the appropriate authorities. His wife, Bisi, in an interview, wondered why Obanikoro, Adesiyan and Uba were allowed to move around in the state during the election with their security details.
