Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, and the Chairman, Board of Trustees, BoT, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Tony Anenih, are set to clash over the control of the Peoples Democratic Movement, PDM.
PDM had been registered as a political party by Atiku’s associates while Anenih and some chieftains of the PDP insist the movement is an integral part of the ruling party. In a show of strength, the Anenih’s PDM is meeting in Abuja today to take a stand on the movement and denounce its status as a political party.
