Nigeria's former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has officially declared his intention to contest the 2015 Presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The declaration which was tagged #ANigeriaForAll took place at the Shehu Musa Yar'adua centre. Atiku's declaration was attended by APC leaders from different parts of the country.
Speaking at the event, Atiku spoke briefly on his childhood, he said, "I grew up as a farmer boy and shepherd boy. I was an only child".
Speaking on his plans for Nigeria, the former VP said, "Our country seems to be on autopilot. I want to assemble the best brains in the land".
"Never again should this country be put in the hands of those learning on the job"
