THE Osun State governorship candidate of the #PeoplesDemocraticParty (PDP), Senator Iyiola #Omisore, on Thursday, in Osogbo, the state capital, said the battle to wrest power from the incumbent Governor Rauf #Aregbesola, through the ballot has begun, with plan by President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo, to storm the state for campaign.
He also hinted that the national secretariat of the party in Abuja had already constituted national campaign council for Osun election, aimed at ensuring landslide success for the #PDP at the governorship poll slated for August 9.
Omisore, who was addressing a crowd of party members at Osun #PDP secretariat in #Osogbo, while being presented by the state chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa, also took on the national leader of the All Progressives Congress ( #APC ), Senator Bola #Tinubu, over his alleged threat to roast anybody who perpetrates rigging in #Osun and #Ekiti polls.
