Metro Ayo Oritsejafor: 2015 Was A Tough Year For Nigerians

The President, Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the New Year celebration, noting that “the true Nigerian spirit was tested in the course of the year (2015) and the rest is now history.”

According to PUNCH, the cleric, in his New Year message on Thursday in Abuja, said, “Indeed, the year 2015 tested our resolve as a nation to forge ahead despite the daunting challenges".

“As we join the rest of the world to mark the end of a turbulent year and beginning of another year, I want to congratulate all Nigerians on being resolute in 2015.As we celebrate the New Year, I urge all citizens to reflect on the challenges that impeded Nigeria’s progress with a view to tackling them.

“Let us put the wrongs of the past behind us and move on as a nation. Nigerians must fight to defeat the ills that have retarded the growth of our country and promote those positive virtues that are capable of repositioning its economy."
