Real Madrid goalkeeper,Iker Casillas,has stated that Gareth Bale would be a great addition to the side,adding that he is one of the best players in Europe.
Bale has been the subject of intense speculation,with Real Madrid will to to pay a world record fee of more than £85m for the Tottenham player.
But Tottenham are said to be holding out for more than £100m for the 24-year old,with negotiations hitting a snag,as Spurs chairman Daniel Levy,is reluctant to sell.
Asked about Bale,Casillas said: “He is one of the best three or four players in Europe.
“All these big transfers are controversial for good or bad reasons but he is a player who decides games.”
“I am sure there will be a new player with us before the transfer window closes.”
Also Madrid’s Sporting Director,Zinedane Zidane,said that he hopes the club signs Bale ” as soon as possible.”
“We’re not going to give up on Bale”, Zidane told Le 10 Sport. “It’s impossible to forget about a player of his quality.
“It’s only normal that Tottenham want him to sign a new contract but we’ve made it clear that he’s one of our main objectives.”
