Bayern Munich not after David Luiz – Guardiola

Bayern Munich manager,Pep Guardiola,has dismissed speculations that they are bidding to sign,Chelsea defender David Luiz.
There are reports that Bayern have lodged a £40m bid for the Brazilian defender,but Guardiola refuted the suggestions,adding that there was no truth in it.
Earlier this month,Bayern’s CEO,Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said that they have two quality players for each position,hinting that they might not be making a move for another player.
”We have two players for every position — this is our squad for next season,” Rummenigge, told Sport Bild.
When asked if Bayern were in for Luiz,Guardiola said:“He’s not coming to Munich,” he said at the presentation of the Audi Cup pre-season tournament in Munich. “We’ve got four or five central defenders. There is no truth to the speculation,” he added.
Luiz only this week returned to training with Chelsea,after he got an extended holidays with Oscar,playing an integral part in helping Brazil win the FIFA Confederations Cup.
