Mr. Aondowase Chia, the Benue Commissioner for Rural Development and Cooperatives has passed away at the age of 46.

PUNCH newspaper says he died early on Wednesday, the 4th of March 2015.

He is believed to have died of stroke. On March 3, he had presented his ministry's budget for 2015 before the Benue State House of Assembly without showing any signs of illness.

When he returned to his office, he was unable to stand from his chair and was speedily taken to the Benue State University Teaching Hospital in Makurdi, where he passed away.

It will be recalled that in one of his healthy moments, Aondowase Chia described APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari as 'quarter to go.'

In matters of life and death, only the unwise would speak with loud confidence, because even the time we have is borrowed.

As @ismail ibrahim said, yea, may the soul of the departed rest in peace.

He spent his time looking at another's clock...

If only he was as important for someone else to watch his...

Tis a sad tale
