The widow of late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu and her step-son, Emeka Ojukwu (jnr), are currently embroiled in a political battle over who would fly the flag of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for Anambra South senatorial district come 2015 election. DAILY INDEPENDENT has this story.

The widow of late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu and his son, Emeka Ojukwu (jnr), are once more, set for battle, over who flies the flag of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for Anambra South senatorial district in the 2015 election.

Ojukwu, who led the Republic of Biafra (now defunct) was until his death in November 2012, the life-leader and chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) of APGA, the party which has controlled power in Anambra State for over eight years now.

Sunday Independent gathered from sources close to her that she has her eyes set on the senatorial seat and intends to vie on APGA platform.

Our sources disclosed that Bianca had pencilled down a former aide to the Ikemba Nnewi, who was a Commissioner under Governor Peter Obi to coordinate her campaign.
