Washington: Bill Gates reportedly revealed during an interview with Rolling Stone that Microsoft wanted to buy WhatsApp.

Microsoft's board chairman said that the software giant was willing to buy mobile-messaging startup WhatsApp that social network site Facebook recently bought for a whopping 19 billion dollars.
