Senator Uche Chukwumerije has condemned the incessant attacks by the Boko Haram group in the North, saying Nigeria can't afford to experience another civil war.
Excerpt from DailyPost:
The senator was reacting to Tuesday’s suicide bomb attack at the popular Monday market in Maiduguri, Borno State, where about 35 people were feared killed.
While calling for moderation among the political class ahead of the 2015 general election, Chukwurerije said that hurling of abuses on the nation’s leaders all in the attempt to get power at all cost was capable of derailing the political process.
The chairman Senate Committee on Education told journalists in Abuja that Tuesday’s attack was one too many and a sign that evil men were working tirelessly to truncate the 2015 general election.
