A newly-married woman, Kate Elizabeth Prichard shot at her husband few hours after their wedding.
BBC reports that when police arrived at the motel where they lodged after the wedding, they found Elizabeth and her husband fighting.
Police reported that she pulled the gun from her wedding dress and shot at during the argument.
Murfreesboro Police Sergeant, Kyle Evans told BBC, “She pulled out of her wedding dress a 9mm pistol, pointed it at her new husband’s head and pulled the trigger.”
The Police also said the bride then loaded a round into the chamber and fired a shot in the air, causing bystanders to run away. The weapon was later found in the bathroom
Elizabeth will face charges on aggravated domestic assault
