Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has promised that they will improve in their second game against Mozambique at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) in South Africa.

Nigeria lost 1-2 in their first game against Mali and now needs to win today's game against Mozambique,to stand a chance of making the next round of the competition.

"Gradually, they are getting off it (the loss) but I must admit that only three players played well in the last game and that was why we lost,” Keshi told reporters after the game.

“We expect 11 players to play well on Wednesday for us to get the result we want,” he added.

"The players have now overcome their stage fright, so I think they would come out to play on Wednesday," Keshi said.

Meanwhile Super Eagles goalkeeper's trainer Ike Shorunmu has backed under-fire goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim, with many accusing him of being culpable for the goals against Mali.

“He made several saves if not, we would have conceded five, six goals in that game,” Shorunmu was quoted as saying on Vanguard Sports. “If you look at the team as a whole, he played well and should not be blamed.”
