In a Christmas eve accident in Bauchi, seven persons were reportedly killed and five others injured. The accident took place at about 12.30pm in Kirfi Local Government Area of Bauchi State when a commercial bus veered off the road and hit a truck.
Mr Sunday Henry Olatunji, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC),said that among the dead persons were three adult males, two male and two female children respectively while the other five that were injured were all adult males. The 12 victims of the crash, including the corpses of the dead persons have been taken to the Federal Medical Centre in Gombe State.
