If you are one of the firm believers in UFOs and aliens, don’t look now, but it would appear that you may be right after all (albeit partially, but who really knows?). There is indeed an Area 51, as has recently been acknowledged by the CIA. That’s not even the juicy bit: Area 51 is exactly what we suspected it is: a Cold War test site (top secret, of course), great material for conspiracy theorists to get a kick out of.

The US government has always been quiet about the existence of Area 51.

Now, things suddenly became interesting when the CIA historical data released on Thursday actually referred to Area 51 by name, but actually goes ahead to place the location of the Air Force base on a map! The map gives indication that Area 51 exists along the dry Groom Lake bed in the desert of Nevada.

There are mentions of several planes, but none of them remotely resembles flying saucers.

With the release of this news, the internet has become abuzz with lots of UFO-hyped talk, but there is nothing about alien bugs or ‘staged’ moon landings in the CIA history report to give credence to all the excitement.

Audry Hewins, meanwhile, is a woman who owns a support group for people who, like her, believe in extraterrestrials, has this to say: “I’m thinking that they’re probably testing the waters now to see how mad people get about the big lie and cover-up. We’re hoping the CIA is leading up to disclosure of the existence of space aliens on Earth. It’s not something you can look at us and lie about, because we know that they’re here and have been here for a long time.”
