The Plateau State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) have arrested five pipeline vandals, confiscated three vehicles, two motorcycles, three drums and 86 cans of diesel.
The suspects had been arrested at Kaskadi Local Government Area, a border village between Kaduna and Plateau States.
The gang leader who was known as John Adi, was said to have stated, “This is my first time of committing the crime; I am a farmer. My friends are the ones who specialise in breaking pipes and selling the fuels to buyers, but the all ran away.”
