Entertainment Comedian Julius Agwu Pulls Out of 2015 Governorship Race

Award-winning comedian, Julius Agwu has pulled out of the 2015 governorship elections in Rivers State following a meeting the comedian had with his kinsmen from Ikwere.

We gathered that shortly after the meeting, Julius Agwu called it quits on his ambition to become Rivers State Governor in 2015 as he was advised to step down for the incumbent Governor, Rotimi Amaechi who was misquoted at the 2014 BON awards.

Julius Agwu's manager, Prince Sunday Uwem noted that the comedian's kinsmen submitted that power should be allowed to rotate to another part of the state and since Amaechi and Julius Agwu hail from the same area, the comedian had to pull out.

However, this does not put an end to Julius Agwu's political ambition as withdrawing from the governorship race does not translate into not contesting for an alternative political office.

We gathered that the comedian had earlier been invited by Governor Amaechi to a meeting where the former was advised to step down based on the rotation formula.

Is this another political stunt or will Julius Agwu bounce back stronger?
