Justice Husain Baba Yusuf, who gave the order in Abuja yesterday, directed that henceforth, Dasuki should be allowed by DSS operatives to access his lawyers within the premises of the Federal Capital Territory Judiciary Headquarters in Maitama Abuja between Monday and Friday this week.

He ordered that till Friday, Dasuki must be brought to the premises of the Abuja High Court as a neutral ground where Dasuki should be allowed unhindered access to his lawyers.

The order followed a complaint by Dasuki’s lawyer, Mr Adeola Adedipe, that the legal team for Dasuki had not been allowed direct access to him in spite of a court order made on April 6.

The former NSA was arraigned before Justice Hussein Baba Yusuf on a multiple count charge bordering on alleged diversion of public funds to the tune of about N13. 6bn.
