A Federal High Court in Lagos on Thursday
rejected an application to dismiss charges of
reckless granting of N30bn credit facilities
instituted against former Managing Director of
Union Bank Plc, Dr. Bartholomew Ebong, and five others.
Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia on Thursday refused the application made by Onyenme’s counsel, Mr. Ige Asemudara, who urged the court to dismiss
the charges because of the absence of the
prosecution from court.
