Over the weekend, 5 delegates who were attending the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP ward congress in Bayelsa drowned while 3 others in Akwa Ibom were killed.
Five members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekeremor local government area of Bayelsa State, yesterday, lost their lives in a tragic boat mishap during the conduct of the party’s ward congresses in the state.
Also, three members of the party were feared killed in Akwa Ibom during the congress.
In Bayelsa however, six others, including the former deputy governor of the state, Chief Peremobowei Ebebi, were lucky when they were rescued by natives and other passengers of oncoming boats.
