Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said “the increasing cases of corruption, impunity and illegality the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is perpetrating and with which it is denting the image of the country makes any suggestion of a PDP challenge for Lagos unfeasible”.
The party said having had a responsible, proactive and transparent government, it would be suicidal for Lagos residents to desire a party like the PDP “noted only for corruption, stealing through many guises and impunity”.
This was contained in a statement in Lagos on Thursday by state Publicity Secretary of the APC, Joe Igbokwe.
