Juana Escudero, a 53 year old woman from Serville in Spain is having a battle of her life proving to Spanish authorities that she is very much alive.
An error in the Spanish social security system meant that she was declared dead in 2010 after another woman of the same name died. The system declared both women dead and Juana has had a hell of a time proving to the authorities that life goes on for her.
