Investments and Securities Tribunal (IST) says about N351.9 billion monetary claims have been made through its alternative dispute resolution window between 2003,when it was created, and now.
The claims were also sequel to the tribunal’s adjudication on about 256 cases and additional 35 complaints during the period in view.
Chairman of the tribunal, Dr Ngozi Chianakwalam, disclosed this in Lagos yesterday at a stakeholders’ forum organized by the Investments and Securities Tribunal on the theme: “Sanitizing Nigerian Capital Market and Bringing Justice to the Door step of the People”.
