A 35-yr-old doctor, Edeye Monday has landed in court following the death of a 22-yr-old pregnant woman, Tolani Aderoju who wanted an abortion.
According to Police, Edeye injected Aderoju with some unknown drugs in a bid to abort her pregnancy. The drugs failed to induce abortion and Aderoju was rushed to another hospital where she died.
The case is being treated as a murder and if found guilty, the accused faces a death sentence.
