Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara, on Friday evening paid a surprise visit to Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Dogara who arrived the Ogun State Government House at Isale – Igbein, Abeokuta, the State capital, by 6:35pm alongside Minority leader and some aides.
He was received by Amosun, Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Suraj Adekunbi, Hon. Yinka Mafe among others, The Nation reports.
Dogara who expressed satisfaction with the warm reception accorded him and his entourage by Amosun, said he was in Abeokuta to also pay a visit to an unnamed Septuagenerian, whom he added, would turn 75 years old this September.
The Speaker passively reminded the Governor that the nation’s National Assembly is passing through challenges but said while people expect encouragement from leaders; the leaders too should also be encouraged.
