The General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, on Tuesday said Nigeria would soon overcome its security challenges.

Kumuyi said this when he spoke with newsmen on arrival in Lafia for a three-day revival programme tagged: "Unforgettable Divine Visitation’’.

He said "God is at work and Nigerians will soon see the finality of the manifestation of God’s power in all affairs of the country.’’

The cleric identified prayers and the fear of God as reasons why the country had not been overwhelmed by the forces of evil.

"You cannot imagine what will have happened if nobody is praying, if the fear of God is not in the heart of Nigerians irrespective their religious inclination,’’ Kumuyi said.

He urged Nigerians to get closer to God for things to get better in the country, saying Nigerians should not relent in praying for their leaders and the nation.

The cleric stressed the need for tolerance and love amongst the people irrespective of religious differences.

"We need to teach ourselves how to imbibe tolerance as an attribute that will make for a better society. We all need each other as we all have the right to live irrespective of religious, ethnic or political differences.

"We should continue to harp on tolerance until it becomes part of all Nigerians.’’

He explained that the three days programme was not meant for Christians alone, but targeted at everybody who desires the visitation of the love of God.

The cleric said the event would usher in a new wave of peace and unity in Nasarawa State, which had hitherto had been engulfed in incessant crises
