APC had better start scouting for a new president by 2017, the hand writing on the world is quite clear. Our dear president is not well

@Samguine - we have 180 million people in Nigeria, the presidency is a privileged not a right. If he is not capable of executing his duties, he should handover to the next in command and let Nigeria carry on with the journey: good, bad or ugly.

Handing over will cause chaos at the moment. Due to his ill health he might want to but there's enough pressure on him not to hand over.

APC started shopping for his replacement after the 2015 elections.

So yet again we are a rudderless nation pretending to be on the right track.

We've been rudderless for quite a while, and the government has been telling us we're on the right track all these while. The difference between then and now is the internet, which is increasing people's exposure to an extent, telling them the ultimate power belongs to them.

The internet has played and is still playing vital role.

Buhari is ready to resign. I can sense it but those cabals won't let him

This is all a bit contradictory. Buhari was voted in as a no nonsense general, man of integrity and incorruptible pillar. He came in belonging to no one and to everyone. All of a sudden we are told he is being held hostage to the same people? If he is determined to do the right thing, he should tell us the true position of his health and confirm he is in charge. I pray for the sake of Nigerians that he is in charge. Too many vultures in ASO Villa.

This is probably true.

Le General thought he could weather things out- he traveled a lot in his first year- but old age is now saying "hey mate, time to pack up."

He might want to resign and put Osinbajo in charge but the vultures don't want that. They don't want Osinbajo to do a Jonathan.
