A security guard, Ahmed Lawal was shot by armed robbers in Banji Lawal Street, Bariga.
Lawal and a colleague were on their way home when they met the robbers on the way. The robbers, on discovery that the duo were security guards started shooting at them.
The colleague was able to escape but Lawal was not so lucky.
General hospital, Gbagada and General Hospital, Somolu refused to treat Lawal as they were on strike. Lawal died of his injuries on the way to LUTH.
