Three Liberian doctors are now said to be improving 'remarkably well' since receiving the ZMapp experimental cure on Thursday last week.

This news is a positive development which arrives the same day as the World Health Organization (WHO) disclosed that 1,229 have died from this outbreak of the rapidly-spreading virus. Over 2,000 cases have been reported.

Liberia's minister of information, Lewis Brown, said the limited number of ZMapp doses the country received were given to one Nigerian and two Liberian doctors, all people who were involved in caring for sick patients.
