World Egypt: Former President Sentenced to 20 Years in Jail For Deaths of Protesters

President Mohammed Mursi, former president of Egypt has been sentenced to 20 years in prison without parole on Tuesday for the killing of protesters in December 2012.

This will be the first ruling against Mursi since he was toppled by the army in 2013 after mass protests against his rule.

The decision can be appealed.
