To prevent any road mishap during the Eid-el-Fitri celebration, the Federal Road Safety Commission, has deployed 300 of its men to Rivers State, this is in addition to 200 special marshals that are on ground to assist the regular ones.
The Sector Commander of the Commission in the State also said that the Commission has over 20 vehicles, ambulances and trucks, to facilitate the smooth running of the operation they have planned to carry out during this season.
He also appealed to all road users to be law abiding, and help the commission to keep the road accident free.
