Members of the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) who staged protest over police invasion at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) in Abuja said they have resumed Friday evening.
Dailytrust reports that NUEE said the resumption follows the intervention of the Minister for Labour and Employment, Mr. Chris Ngige in resolving the stand-off between them and the leadership of the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing over assets takeover and pending workers' severance payments.
The NUEE Circular No. 14 of April 22, 2016 and signed by the General Secretary, Joe Ajaero said all the TCN staff should resume at their duty post immediately while further communication will be made as event unfolds.
