Politics Emergency rule: Plans to stop elections in three northern states a huge joke – Governor Nyako

Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State, has described as a ‘huge joke’, the moves by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to stop elections in the three North-Eastern states currently under Emergency Rule.

The governor stated this on Wednesday, shortly after the State Executive Council meeting at the Dougirei Government House, Yola.
