Sports Emmanuel Emenike angry over Nigeria's loss to Congo

Super Eagles vs Iran.gif Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike visibly showed his unhappiness following Nigeria's defeat to Congo last Saturday.

Nigeria lost a home game to the visiting Congo team, which left them third in Group A of the qualifying series for the 2015 Nations Cup in Morocco.

Emenike didn't start the game as a punishment for arriving late to the Super Eagles camp for the qualifiers.

Upon his introduction in the game,Emenike brought in urgency in attack, troubling the Congolese with his movements but it didn't turn around the fortunes of the team.

He cleverly set up Nosa Igiebor with a back-heeled pass, but the midfielder wasted the opportunity, which could have changed the fate of the Super Eagles in the game.

Ostensibly angered by the team's inability to win and the subsequent loss, the Fenerbahce striker threw a can of water on the ground in apparent show of anger as he stormed to the dressing room.

He ignored journalists after the match and refused to speak about the game.

Coach Stephen Keshi could decide to start him in the game against South Africa on Wednesday, knowing that he really needs to win the game.
