Former Justice Minister and Attorney-General of the Federation, Chief Kanu Agabi, speaking with newsmen in Uyo on Thursday has urged Nigerians and the leaders to seek God’s intervention for solutions to the country’s problems.
"We cannot find solutions to our problems by reading books on philosophy or economics. My appeal to us is that we return to God.
"This nation must return to God. There is hope for this nation,” Agabi told members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom council.
He said that the problem of Nigeria was corruption, adding that it all started after the civil war.
He stressed the need for merit and attainment of excellence in professional calling in the country.
