Despite the federal government of #Nigeria rejecting the recently manufactured #Ebola drug -Nanosilver- on grounds that it didn't meet basic research requirements, some experts have drummed support for the drug, saying it can cure the disease.

Experts working in the management of patients that had been infected with Ebola in the past have said that the experimental drug, Nanosilver can cure Ebola.
This is contrary to the position of the Federal Government and the verdict of the National Health Research Ethics Committee which stated that it could not approve the use of the experimental drugs for the management of the disease last week.
According to the Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, the drug was rejected by the committee because it had failed to meet the safety and ethical requirements.
