Metro Fake Judge, Househelp Arrested Over Unlawful Eviction of Tenants

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested one Mrs. Elizabeth Ajibola, 51 alongside her househelp Stephen Yakubu, for forceful eviction of some tenants at the Government Reservation Area (GRA), Ibara, Abeokuta.

Mrs. Ajibola who claimed to be a Judge at the Lagos High Court, stormed the GRA resident in company of the househelp, where they allegedly assaulted the tenants, and in the process destroyed property and threw away belongings of the victims.

The aggrieved tenants reported the case at the Ibara Police division, this led to the arrest of the duo.

After police investigations,it was discovered that Mrs. Ajibola was an impersonator. The duo are being charged for six offences, including conspiracy, impersonation, assault, and conduct likely to cause breach of peace.

Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said hearing on the case has been slated for December 5 at the Chief Magistrate Court 1, Isabo, Abeokuta.
