Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr Femi Falana has called on the Federal Government to hasten the political will and courage to recover “withheld or stolen funds of not less than $200 billion belonging to the Nigerian people” instead of taking fresh loans.
In a letter dated April 8, 2016, which was addressed to the Minister of Finance, the human rights lawyer threatened to initiate legal proceedings at the Federal High Court in order to restrain the Federal Government from further plunging the nation into external indebtedness if it failed to accede to the request.
