Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has faulted the United States government for indirectly aiding and abetting the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria.
Speaking via social media, Fani-Kayode said that the government of the United States of America helped the spread of Boko Haram insurgency in the country by refusing to classify the group as a terrorist organisation until 2014.
He lamented that the government was unable to buy arms from either the United States or any of her allies because of the international arms embargo it places on Nigeria.
