The Vanguard newspaper reports that former governor of Ekiti state, Chief Ayo Fayose stormed the Wadata Plaza (PDP’s national secretariat) yesterday with some of his supporters to pick the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms (which costs N11 million), stating that the All Progressives Congress, APC is a cult with its mode of operation.
This is coming ahead of the Ekiti state governorship elections. Fayose declared that the incumbent governor, Kayode Fayemi (APC member) would not win the forthcoming election, scheduled to take place on the 21st of June. Fayose accused Fayemi of being anti-consensus.
Fayose stated that he would remain in PDP even if he doesn’t emerge as the party’s candidate after the March 15 primaries.
