Female Boko Haram Suspects Arrested
The residents of Gomari and Bulunkutu wards of Maiduguri, Borno State were fearful and stunned as the Bornu Vigilance Youth Group (BVYG) and the military Joint Task Force (JTF) arrested a female Boko Haram suspects along with another 35 year old man. Both were suspected to be informants for the Islamic sect that engages women in the smuggling of ammunition and rifles to launch attacks against communities.

The vigilante groups have already arrested up to five female Boko Haram terror suspects with rifles and 254 rounds of ammunition. It is believed that some female Boko Haram suspects have intensified break into households and put poisonous substance into their food items.

Search points have been intensified around the state to curb the threat of attack and chaos done by the sect.
