The Lagos State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in a statement signed by its state Publicity Secretary, Mr Taofik Gani on Thursday commended the Federal Government’s approval of 1.345 billion dollars for the development of the Lekki deep sea port in the state.
The party also commended the government for approving a 200 million dollars loan sought by the Lagos State Government.
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Dec. 4, had approved the signing of an agreement for the Lekki deep sea port project will be executed at 1.345 billion dollars (about N221.9 billion).
''We hope that other leaders, especially governors, will learn such sincere governance from the President,'' the party added.
