The federal government of Nigeria has set up special 20 teams of legislators to try high profile criminal cases, especially those involving corruption, bribery, embezzlement and misappropriation of funds.
According to Punch, one team has four members with a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN as its leader. Reports say the teams underwent a training which ended last month.
It's believed that the Prof. Itse Sagay-led Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption played a part in their training.
One of the teams has been assigned the forgery case of Senate President Bukola Saraki and other principal senate officials .
