#FIFA President Joseph Sepp #Blatter has revealed that he will once again stand in for the presidency of the world football governing body.

It was initially believed that he would step aside after his current term in office but the Swiss is adamant that he can still carry on with the onerous task of administering football duties.

Blatter is expected to stand in for the post at the 2015 FIFA Presidential election,it is left to be seen if he will still be unopposed like in the last elections.

Former FIFA executive Jerome #Champagne last year indicated interest to run for the post, but had to backtrack saying that it would be impossible if Blatter considers to run again.

Blatter previously said that he would run only if asked by associations, but he has now revealed that he will contest again.

"I'm a candidate again. My mandate has ended but by mission isn't finished" the 78-year old told #Swiss paper #Blick .
