At about 9pm on Monday, there was fire outbreak at Akwanga Market in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The fire destroyed about six stalls, including cosmetics stores, a hairdressing salon and provisions stores. Eye witnesses claim that the Nigerian fire service arrived late at the scene of the incident,hence the level of damage caused by the fire.
