The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested one Oluwasegun Sanni, aka Nicholas, for allegedly parading himself as an official of the commission. Sanni, a street footballer, was picked up on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Ikoyi, Lagos.
EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said Sanni was arrested while he was collecting a bribe of N450,000 he “fraudulently demanded from one Alhaji A. Abubakar” whom he had earlier called to the office of the EFCC to respond to a fictitious petition allegedly written against him.
